What to Expect

Each week we meet in a Large Group for the first hour. There is time of worship music followed by a recovery lesson or a testimony.

The second hour we break into Open Issue Small Groups by gender to work on individual issues. All groups share on the topic of the evening’s lesson and are open to newcomers.

An opportunity to volunteer.

Celebrate Recovery – Inside

Celebrate Recovery Inside provides a natural transition back to the community from the institution since there are churches that have Celebrate Recovery in many communities. Additionally, there is an opportunity for the family of the incarcerated person to receive help as they become involved in Celebrate Recovery at the local level during their loved one's incarceration. Thus, creating a Forever Family of healthy sober influences for the entire family. While incarcerated, many of the anonymous programs are specific to one area such as alcoholism, drugs, gambling, etc. Celebrate Recovery is a biblical Christ-centered program that focuses on the power of Christ in every area of life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

Good News!! We have been accepted into the Deschutes County Jail and are looking for both men and women volunteers to take CRI into the Deschutes County Jail. This is such an awesome opportunity to be a part of the ministry team to start CRI inside the jail. We have worked very hard for this amazing opportunity to be able to start Celebrate Recovery Inside at our local jail.

Please spread the good news with your Celebrate Recovery groups. I am attaching the Application for the jail, please have anyone interested in volunteering fill them out and email them back to me or they can take them to the jail directly. We need these back as soon as possible.

We are looking for both men and women volunteers to be part of our team. They will have an orientation / training on April 9th 2017 at the jail. (time to be announced). We are asking for a 1 year commitment and volunteering 1-2 Sunday's a month. We are also taking applications for back up volunteers. The time of the meetings between 6:30 pm– 8:00 pm.

I am also attaching a Flyer for you to please forward and print out for your Celebrate Recovery Groups.

Please join us in prayer as we continue to get prepared and build a great team for this ministry.

God Bless,
